I'm the young woman in the old time peddling cart with beauty products all around me! No, that's just a illustration of me, I actually live my BEST life in my own wheels, my WHEELCHAIR! Thats me to the right with my Mom, my Papa was taking the picture. For as long as I can remember my Mom has been peddling beauty products to make a living and to help take care of me.
She started out as a Hairstylist then she became a Beauty Salon Owner/Operator renting space out of a booth. Then after that she got a little more ambitious and we moved to Hong Kong for a little while. Thats where we opened up a Hair Extension Company. We lived over there, well for almost 6 years. When we moved back she landed a GREAT job with an Established Beauty Company out of New York. Thats when my life got even better. Thats when she met my Papa Bear, my step Dad, Todd. He is our ROCK. After they got married he took me and her all over the United States visiting different fun cities. He spent his entire life in the Army, for over 40 years and he was getting ready to go on his last tour over seas. If I could talk I think I would say Mom loves Beauty Products, however she loves us way more!

One day she was holding me up in my room and was calling me some of her cute little nicknames. Thats when she said she was going to start a company and put me as the face for the logo!. Cause I was the prettiest real Doll she had ever seen.

Which this is what brings me to you and why my Mom is telling the story. MY MOM has spent her life researching the best products in the market because she didn't want me to have an allergic reaction or not have pretty healthy hair. She wanted me to live my best life in and out of the my wheelchair.
She has spent hours upon hours making sure we get the latest greatest healthiest products and for the right price! She also has shared all the information with my helpers that help take care of me and anyone that finds out she has a License for Hair. She constantly shares her knowledge and her tips and tricks for hair and beauty. After she knew the Logo would be inspired by me it only made sense to put wheels next to me. So she put me in a old time peddlers cart and decided we were going to sell the best products in the world at affordable prices.

Thats how it all started. ME, my Mom and Papa Bear founded Penelope Peddles, Beauty A la Cart. We thought why not! People sometimes are afraid of seeing people in wheelchairs. But they shouldn't be afraid. Beauty comes in all different shapes and smells and sizes. Mom has always said, "You're the Prettiest girl in the World!" and I know she believes it.
I don't walk, talk or feed myself but I do know one thing for sure. At 26 years old My Mom has my back and she will have yours too! Thats why I know you will be very well taken care of with her special collections for each individualized hair and beauty type. She loves her local community and thats why she is involving them in her business too. She will select a homegrown made local product and put it in her Penelope Favs section of the site.
